"Colour plays an extremely important role in our everyday lives. Why this should be so has
exercised the minds of some of our greatest philosophers for many centuries."

Society of Chemistry, Cambridge, (2001)

On the following pages we like to introduce you into the field of chromogenic polymers and present you results of our recent developments. Our working fields are:
- Novel chromogenic materials (focus: reversible and irreversible thermochromism as well as photochromism. Also in combination with each other or with piezochromism, electrochromism and ionochromism)
- Photochromic Polymers (thermoplastics, foils, thermosetting plastics and lacquers)
- Sun protecting glazing, light regulation
- Thermochromic Polymers (thermoplastics, foils, thermosetting plastics, lacquers and hydrogels)
- Thermotropic hydrogels (translucence switching in dependence on temperature)
